A Life Update

Hiya!! I hope yall are well!?

I thought I’d do a little life update because my life has changed a lot since my last one!

First things first, I’ve finished my first semester at university. I’ve completed three modules and I got 2:1’s in each assignment so it’s pretty safe to say that I am on track for a 2:1 for my first year. I have three modules in this upcoming semester too so let’s hope I get those same grades.

I’ve been confused as to how I’m doing so well at university. All you truly have to do in first year is pass, which is a 40% in my degree and I’ve been getting 65+ which is well and truly into a pass. And the thing is, I’m not really putting in that much effort. I actually think I’ve put in less effort at university than I ever did at sixth form with my alevels which is such a weird thing. I didn’t do terrible at sixth form but I didn’t get the equalivent to the grades I’m getting at uni, and I’m definitely putting in less effort.

Also, I’m in a relationship now! You may have noticed just from the previous blog post I did about love letters but yeah, I am officially a taken person haha. Not that it matters at all but I will occasionally probably post about them here and there, and that’s all that will change! It’s weird being in a relationship (a healthy one at that) when you were single for so long but I am so so happy!

Yeah that’s all that’s really changed in my life. I don’t really lead the most exciting life EVER haha. I will be doing some posts soon about me coming off the pill because that’s a decision I took in the New Year and yeah, didn’t really find many posts on this subject. A lotta posts on going ON the pill but none about coming off. So yeah – look forward to that.

  1. Congrats on your new relationship and I’m so glad you’re happy! I came off the pill in December after eight months of being single and I agree there doesn’t seem to be many posts about coming off it. I for one would love to read yours 🙂
