Hiya everyone! Today’s blogmas post I thought I’d list and give the details about gifts you can get for someone that give back in some way! They are nice presents to get people because although you’re still buying a gift, you’re also probably helping someone who finds it difficult to help themselves..
- Toms UK ~ around £40
I think Toms are well known for this because if you buy a pair of Toms, a pair is given to a child in need. On their website it says, Tom’s has given “more than 75 million pairs of shoes to children who need shoes”. Not only do they give shoes to children, they also provide education and community developmental programs to help improve the future of children and their families which is bloody amazing!! So not only do they do all this, but their shoes are decent too. I think I bought a pair when I was 14 and granted I don’t wear them a lot but they are still wearable.
- Cuddle and Kind ~ around $20-60
I’ve never come across this brand before doing this blog post but I think I’ll definitely be purchasing from them in the near future. With every doll that you purchase from the website, 10 meals are given to children! I think food is something no one should ever have to go without so this movement is important. You can buy adorable prints that are $20 that feed 5 meals and the dolls give 10 like I said. Obviously it depends on what you buy and the more you spend, the more money is given to the company to buy the food. So far they have been able to give 1,039,388 meals which is so good!!
- Swazi Candles ~ around £15
These candles are produced with a fair trade supplier from different parts of the world. These ones being from Swaziland but you can also get ones from Africa, India, Thailand and Vietnam! This website doesn’t just sell candles, it sells a whole lotta stuff from homeware to clothing! So you can definitely get a couple of presents from here if you keep looking and help small suppliers get money!
And that’s all I found! Obviously, much bigger businesses like John Lewis or Sainsburys etc sell things around this time of the year that help others so if needed, you could go to them! But I just wanted to find small, independent businesses that supply gifts that give back!
Hope you have a lovely day!
