My Daily Make Up Routine

Hiya everyone! For today’s post I thought I’d write about my daily make up routine. I’m that sort of person who wears the exact same make up every single day without fail, regardless of occasion. I need to jazz up my make up routine but I just don’t have the money to do that at the moment hahaha!

First of, I’m that person who always does their face before eyes. I know doing your eyes first helps with fall out but I don’t really wear jazzy eye make up so it’s never a problem! I don’t wear foundation because I am blessed with alright skin so I only wear concealer and pressed powder. The concealer I use it Collection Lasting Perfect Concealer in Fair 1. This is my absolute favourite concealer because it works well with my skin and fits my skin tone! I normally wait around 5 or 10 minutes for my concealer to dry before putting on my powder. My pressed powder is Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory 18 with my Real Techniques powder brush. It’s lightweight and makes my skin looks flawless without the excessive price.

Normally after I finish my base off, I start with my eye make up. I don’t know why the order of my make up routine is SO weird but this is just how I’m used to doing it. I start off with my eyebrows and I use MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Brunette! I don’t really do much with my brows. I simply just comb them through with the Real Techniques eyebrow brush and then use the pencil to draw a bit on. I just focus on the arch and the inside of my brow because that’s where my natural hairs are lacking. Other than that, I do nothing else other than blend and blend and blend hahaha!

Then I go onto my eyeshadow which I simply just use the MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed and I typically use the light pink shade because I’m obsessed with pink! I just place that all over the lid. I use the Sleek Eyeshadow Palette in the crease and I use the brighter pink shade which also I think has an gold undertone because that’s how it reflects off of my skin!

I use the Collection Lengthening Mascara in Black on my lashes. I don’t really like wearing intense mascara because I wear glasses every single day so my lashes always hit off the lenses haha. This mascara does the job that I want and it’s cheap enough!

Finally I do my highlight because I just can’t go out with highlighter on haha! I use an array of highlighters because I put different ones on different parts of my face. Under my brows I put the Sleek Solstice Palette cream highlight so my brows are popping. On my cheekbones, I normally use the I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Peachy Pink Kiss because it matches my eyeshadow a lot more. On my nose and chin, I use the Makeup Revolution Golden Lights Highlighter. To finish, I just briefly put a tiny bit of my pressed powder over the highlight to set it.

That’s my day to day face of make up. Let me know of any cruelty free make up brands or products that you would recommend for me, because I’m always interested in new make up products haha! I hope you have a lovely day!

  1. Hey! I absolutely love the brand Nude by Nature, which is cruelty free and vegan. I think you will love the powder as it is super lightweight and just smooths out all the different colours in your skin. I have just started using it moving away from the heavy and cheap foundations i used to use. The only downside to using the powder is that is has no spf in it which is a serious problem down in Australia moving into summer. So i also just brought the bb cream which provides a bit more protection and then I just cover it with the translucent powder to set it. Hope this helps! xx
